Californian electronica producer Alek Fin makes his sampleware debut with this library of 271 sampled loops and 150 one-shots. The 38 drum loops are a mixed bag, with some pretty tepid sounds sitting uncomfortably among the more interesting ones; but Introspection is really all about chilled-out melodics, the highlights of which are the hauntingly beautiful pianos, guitars and pads, closely followed by the synths and vocals. Charming and characterful.
